Lynsey Kmetz began her legal career as an Assistant Solicitor prosecuting white collar criminal defendants and then spent seven years in civil litigation with the Foster Law Firm, LLC in Greenville, SC. Lynsey recently relocated with her family to Charlotte, NC and is a volunteer with the Junior League of Charlotte and looks forward to becoming more involved in the Queen City’s civic and legal community.
Lynsey recently completed her term as President of the South Carolina Bar’s Young Lawyers Division and feels that young lawyers will enhance their fulfillment in the practice of law through their engagement with the young lawyers division within their state. She is also an active member of the American Bar Association Young Lawyers Division and served as Liaison and Advisory Board Member to the Commission on Youth at Risk and Vice Chair of the Women in the Profession Committee.
Currently, Lynsey is a member of the South Carolina Bar Board of Governors, House of Delegates and Future of the Profession Committee as well as the South Carolina Women Lawyers Association Board of Directors.
During Lynsey’s term as President, the SC Bar Young Lawyers Division was awarded an unprecedented 1st place in each of the ABA Awards of Achievement categories as well as a national award for Services to the Bar for their Family Events.
